Fire Shutters and Fire Doors are used in buildings to prevent the spread of fire, and to contain fires into segregated areas, so that the ermergency services can resolve the situation.

 

Fire Shutters are programmed into Fire Alarm Systems / Lone Heat and Smoke Sensors, so once activated, they will close. 

 

Very similiar to Standard Roller Shutters, however our Fire Shutters are only available in Electric Operation, which allows us to link our control panels into your existing Fire Alarms (if there a Fire Link is made available), alternatively we can wire our panels into Heat / Smoke Sensors that we supply, allowing for localised detection.

Fire Shutters also double up as Physical Security Barriers, which are great for Shopping Centres, Educational and Catering Premises.

 

Most importantly, our Fire Shutters conform with regulations and have passed fire resistance performance of shutters to BS 476: Part 22: 1987. The fire resistance performance of shutters to BS EN 1634-1: 2008.
